They’re now looking for a detail-oriented Buyer / Demand Planner to join their growing team.

What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting directly to an Australia-based manager as part of the Supply Chain team, you’ll ensure seamless inventory flow and supply chain accuracy.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Forecast and Plan: Analyze demand patterns to monitor stock levels and proactively raise purchase orders.
- Manage Procurement Life Cycle: Oversee open purchase orders, coordinate supplier follow-ups, and negotiate pricing to ensure cost-efficiency.
- Streamline Logistics: Create and maintain inbound shipments for local and international freight while ensuring all documentation is meticulous and complete.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with Finance on invoice discrepancies, support Sales with special requests, and partner with IT to enhance system data accuracy.
- Optimize Operations: Utilize Smartsheet for vessel bookings and identify opportunities to improve purchasing and logistics workflows.
What You’ll Bring
- Industry Expertise: Proven experience in purchasing, supply chain, logistics, or inventory management.
- Technical Proficiency: Confidence working with ERP systems and managing complex data sets.
- Analytical Mindset: A strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent organizational and communication abilities to manage global supplier relationships.
- Operational Pride: A proactive approach to maintaining smooth, efficient processes in a dynamic environment.
